Gypsum Board Adhesive
NEOFIL G12 is a grey colour powder adhesive composed of cement, filler, synthetic resins and special additives formulated in a way to obtain an excellent characteristics of workability and adhesion. It is water resistant and does not contain fiber, asbestos or any other harmful components.

Surface preparation
All surfaces must be sound, dry, compact, free from dust, grease substances and inconsistent parts.
Concrete or block supports should have been allowed to cure sufficiently. All shrinkage movements should take place before fixing the gypsum board.
In case of applications on walls exposed to temperature variations, applications where some elasticity is required or bonding to high absorbent substrates then NEOFIL G12 should be mixed with PVA LATEX RIPRESA as a total or partial substitute of the mixing water.
Mixing
Add NEOFIL G12 bag of 25 kg into a container of 5 - 5.5 liters of water (or PVA LATEX RIPRESA as needed); mix until a uniform, lump free consistency mix is achieved. For mixing process, a slow speed drill (200 – 300 rpm) fitted with a suitable paddle is recommended.
Keep the obtained mix for about 5 minutes and then remix before application.
Application
Apply the mixed product on the whole surface of the back of the gypsum board panel with a notched trowel, or a strip around back edge of the panel depending on panel size.
Large size panels must be bonded over the whole surface with notched trowel. Small size panels can be bonded by applying a strip of spots of the adhesive on the reverse side of the board. The adhesive strip should be applied all around the board, as well as, in the middle.
Apply sufficient pressure on the board during fixing in order to ensure good contact with the adhesive. Check the level of the board and adjust immediately after fixing the panel.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened materials should be mechanically removed.
Recommendations
NEOFIL G12 is a cement-based product.
During application, wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves and respiratory equipment if necessary.
In case of contact with skin, rinse with water and again wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly.
If ingested, obtain medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
