High Strength Cementitious Ready Dry Mix Plaster
RASANTE P-20S is high strength cement based ready mix plaster. It is specially formulated for exterior and interior plastering work that gives an extra hard, smooth, and better shrinkage control base coat. Due to its exceptional content of additives and the use of precisely graded fillers, a homogeneous, superior adhesion, and a high workability product is obtained when mixed with water.
RASANTE P-20S is manufactured to provide a very good quality of plaster and can be applied manually by hand or by using spray machines.
RASANTE P-20S is supplied in 50kg multilayered bags.
Consumption: Approximately 16-17 Kg per m² for 10 mm thickness.
Store in dry covered place in the original closed bags. In these conditions, the product shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.

RASANTE P-20S should be mixed with clean cold water to obtain a homogeneous mixture free from lumps. One 50 Kg. bag of RASANTE P-20S should be mixed with about 8 – 9 Liters of clean water. The mixture remains workable for 1 hour after mixing (at +25ºC). Let the mix set for 5 minutes, then remix before application.
Apply RASANTE P-20S on the surface manually with a plastering trowel or by using a spraying machine in a single layer (up to 20mm).
When the plaster has "set", smooth finishing can be achieved with a wooden or foam float. The Float should be moistened during the smoothing operation.
If more thickness is required, the application should be done in two layers. In the first layer, apply RASANTE P-20S in a thickness of 10-15mm, a rough texture is to be obtained to provide mechanical Key for the second layer. The second layer should b applied at least 48 hours after the first layer. Within this period cure the plaster with clean water. Apply the second layer at a thickness of up to 20mm.
If applying with spray machine, RASANTE P-20S mix should not be allowed to stand unused in the machine for longer than 30 minutes.
In order to ensure proper curing, it is advisable to keep the plastered surface moist and protected from sun and wind during the first 48 hours.
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened materials should be mechanically removed.
The substrate should be free of loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, oil or paint. Absorbent and porous substrates should be moistened with water prior the application of RASANTE P-20S.
In case of non absorbent surfaces, a spatter dash slurry coat DASHBOND or DASHBOND SPX (in case of AAC Block surface) should be applied as a key coat to improve adhesion and high bonding with the substrate.
In case of surface contains micro-silica, DASHBOND SPX spatter dash slurry should be applied to improve adhesion with the substrate.
Concrete or block substrates should have been allowed to cure sufficiently. All shrinkage movements should taken place before applying RASANTE P-20S.
Do not apply RASANTE P-20S on surface exposed to movement, vibration or mechanical impacts.
Saturate the surface with water and wait for the evaporation of excess water before applying the mix.
RASANTE P-20S is a cement based product. Avoid contact with eyes or skin.
During application, wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves and respiratory equipment if necessary.
In case of contact with skin, rinse with water and again wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly.
If ingested, obtain medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
