ASFABIT RB+ is a cold applied rubberized bitumen emulsion in dark brown color that, when dries, it forms tough black seamless and flexible coating.

Surface preparation
The surface of the concrete shall be sound, clean and uncontaminated.
This preparation shall be such as to leave a sound exposed concrete surface free from dust, loose particles and any deleterious matter. If the concrete surface is defective or has laitance, it must be cut back to a sound base.
Moss and lichen must be removed physically followed by treatment with fungicidal wash. After treatment, it must be washed down thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry.
Priming
Hot, very dry or porous surfaces should be primed before applying ASFABIT RB+.
Mixing
ASFABIT RB+ should be stirred before use until a uniform color and consistency is achieved. Product is ready for use.
Application
For waterproofing underground structures, the bituminous emulsion shall be applied by brush or squeegee at a maximum rate of 200 microns per coat.
The three coats must be applied at right angles to one another with a minimum of 6 hour intervals between each application at +25°C. Each coat must be completely dry before the next coat is applied.
Cleaning
ASFABIT RB+ products should be removed from tools, equipment and mixers with clean water prior to the initial set. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
Recommendation
ASFABIT RB+ is non-flammable, non-hazardous product. However, proper measures should be taken during work to avoid contact with eyes or skin. In the event of contact with eyes, wash immediately with clean water and seek medical care.
