Application Information
Instructions for use

Surface Preparation

The surface of the concrete shall be sound, clean and uncontaminated.  This preparation shall be such as to leave a sound exposed concrete surface free from dust, loose particles and any deleterious matter.

Application

COLMEFOAM LHD should be applied with a multi-component spray system. Upon contact with the surface, the mixture instantly adheres and expands into a rigid foam.

Recommendations

  • To ensure optimal density and dimensional stability, maintain a pass thickness between 10 and 20 mm. Thicker layers can negatively impact these critical properties. Thin layers will increase the density and decrease product yield.
  • When the total desired thickness exceeds 6 cm, allow a 10-minute interval between each layer application.
  • For applications exceeding 10 cm in total thickness, a longer interval between layers is required to ensure proper curing.
Additional Information
Health & Safety

During application, wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves and respiratory equipment if necessary.

In case of contact with skin, rinse with water and again wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly.

If ingested, obtain medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.

Refer to MSDS for more detailed safety instructions.
