Water based concrete curing compound
BETOCURE S is a clear liquid based on sodium silicate to cure, harden and seal freshly hardened concrete. It is easy to apply, leaves no residue and dries quickly.
Packaging:
BETOCURE S is packed in plastic containers of 20 liters and 210 liters.
Coverage:
15-20 m²/liter, depending on concrete surface condition.
Shelf Life:
BETOCURE S has a minimum shelf life of 12 months, provided the temperature is kept within the range of 5°C to 35°C. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
Containers should be kept sealed and airtight to prevent of moisture by evaporation.

Pre–application
BETOCURE S should be stirred before application. Product is ready for use directly from the drum and should not be diluted with water. BETOCURE S is not a film forming product but should fully saturate the concrete for maximum effect. Perform enough application to fully saturate the concrete without leaving puddle.
Surface should be free of water. In case of horizontal surfaces, the product should be applied as soon as the bleed water has evaporated from the surface.
Application
BETOCURE S should be applied uniformly by sprayer, brush, roller or soft bristled broom to the surface of fresh concrete. For best results, use spray for application. Application should be at the rate of 15m2/liter. The coating produces a light duty surface. It is the responsibility of the user to adjust to curing rate to properly regulate the hydration of the concrete. Two applications maybe required. BETOCURE S should be applied to newly hardened concrete immediately after demolding. It should never be applied on concrete which has started to dry out, otherwise the hydration mechanism will be seriously impaired. Do not allow compaction or vibrating acts close to the sprayed area as this will break the freshly sprayed film.
Overcoating
Over coating can be done without removal of curing compound provided the application is within the specified coverage rate.
Clean
Equipment and tools used should be cleaned promptly with water.
Recommendations
Direct contact with the product may result in irritation of the skin and eyes. Product vapors may also cause irritation. Wear gloves and masks, wash thoroughly after handling remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
Remove ignition sources prior to use. Accidental eye contact, wash with plenty amount of water and seek immediate medical help.
