Water Based Acrylic Floor Coating
A general purpose, interior and exterior, 100% acrylic, low odor, waterborne floor coating. This product dries rapidly to a tough, alkali resistant finish which will withstand hard wear, abrasion, grease, oils, and cleaning equipment.
It is specially designed for maximum adhesion and resistance to weather, UV rays, chemicals and mildew. It is easily applied by brush, roller and spray and dries quickly to a smooth, low sheen film. The acrylic resin and light fast pigments used in EPOFLOOR ACR assures years of exterior durability.

Surface preparation
The surface of the concrete to be prepared shall be sound, clean and uncontaminated.
This preparation shall be such as to leave a sound exposed concrete surface free from dust, loose particles and any deleterious matter. If the concrete surface is defective or has laitance, it must be cut back to a sound base. Excess laitance deposits are best removed by light mechanical scrabbling, grinding or grit/captive blasting followed by vacuum cleaning to remove dust debris.
Any blowholes, chipping or similar surface imperfections shall be repaired using EPOFINISH, a solvent free epoxy resin repair mortar. Allow repair material to harden.
Expansion joints shall be repaired using EPOMORT HS a high strength solvent free epoxy mortar. New concrete floors should be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before applying the primer.
Priming
Highly porous concrete must be treated with one coat of EPOFLOOR ACR, diluted with 10% water. The primer should be applied by brush or roller on to the cleaned surface area (particularly hidden surfaces) at a rate of 5-10 m²/Liter. The primer should be left to achieve a tack-free condition before applying the top coat.
Mixing
EPOFLOOR ACR should be stirred before use until a uniform colour and consistency is achieved. Product is ready for use. It is important to mix the product well before application with an electrical mixer at low rpm. It is also necessary to leave the product for few minutes after mixing to let air bubbles come out from the mix.
Application
EPOFLOOR ACR can be applied by brush, spray or roller. Apply the product uniformly in two coats at a coverage rate of 4-6 m²/Liter per coat. Before applying the following coat, make sure that the previous coat is completely dry (from 2-4 hours depending on the environment conditions). If slip resistance finish is required, broadcast silica aggregate with the required sieve size onto first coat while its wet. Once cured, remove excess silica and apply the second coat.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Spillages should be absorbed with sand or sawdust and disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
