Acrylic Sealant
ACRYSEAL is a single component, multi purpose sealant based on acrylic co-polymer resins which, when cures, forms a flexible sealant. ACRYSEAL sealant is resistant to abrasion and weathering and also has a very good adhesion to most porous surfaces.
n Single component, ready to use
n High adhesion and bonding properties
n Paintable with emulsion and alkyd paints
n Weather resistance
n Easy to apply
n Economical
n ASTM C 834
Packaging:
ACRYSEAL is supplied in 5kg plastic and 280ml. cartridge containers
Consumption:
1 Kg of ACRYSEAL will fill 4.5 linear meter for a joint size of 10 mm (depth) X 15 mm (width)
Storage:
Store the product in dry closed place with temperature between 10 to 25ºC. Storage above this temperature may reduce shelf life. The product maintains its stability for 12 months.

Surface Preparation
Joint substrate should be sound, clean and free from loose material, or chemical products, oil or grease.
Remove or round any sharp edges or corners in order to optimize the adhesion.
Application
For porous or very dry substrates, it is recommended to dilute Acryseal with water (1:3 by volume) and apply by brush in thin coat as primer.
Allow the primer to become tack free before application of the sealants.
For neat and clean job, use masking tape around the joint edges before applying the sealant. Remove the tape immediately after the sealant is applied.
ACRYSEAL can be applied by caulking gun or a suitable putty knife or spatula. Press the sealant into the joint to ensure a firm and full contact with the joint surface and to avoid bubble trap.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened material should be removed mechanically.
Recommendations
ACRYSEAL is not recommended for:
n Joints having high degree of movements
n Damp & contaminated surfaces
n Heavily trafficked floor joints
Keep ACRYSEAL away from the source of ignition. During application, wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves and respiratory equipment if necessary.
In case of contact with skin, rinse with water and again wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly. If ingested, obtain medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
