High Performance Epoxy Grout for Tiles
NEOFIL POXY is a two-component epoxy grout composed of base and hardener. Once all the components are mixed, it will give a thixotropic viscose paste which is used to grout the joints between ceramic tiles, mosaic, natural stones, marble, etc.
Used for joints between ceramic tiles, acid resistant tiles, clinker, single fired mosaics, etc. with joints width from 3 to 10mm. NEOFIL POXY can be used either on walls or floors, for internal and external joints.
Ideal to use in tanks containing acid, industrial, catering facilities, kitchens, laboratories, swimming pools, heavy duty workshops, garages. Suitable for sealing tiles joints subjected to chemical aggressive attacks in food industries, hospitals, electrical substations and plant rooms.
Packaging:
Manufactured as 8 kg kit with two components. Keep the product in a dry place, into original well closed containers, protect from frost.
Chemical Resistance:
Surface coated with NEOFIL POXY is resistant to the following products:
20% Sulfuric acid | Resistant |
20% Sodium hydroxide | Resistant |
5% Sodium chloride | Resistant |
Motor oil | Resistant |
Mineral oil | Resistant |
Gasoline | Resistant |
Carbon tetrachloride | Resistant |
Methyl alcohol | Resistant |
Ethylene glycol (Antifreeze) | Resistant |
Methyl ethyl ketone | Resistant |
Naptha | Resistant |
Chloroform | Resistant |
Isopropyl alcohol | Resistant |
Consumption:
Consumption is according to joints depth and width and the size of tiles. Accurate quantity of consumption can be calculated using following formula:
Formula: A + B x W x D x 1.75 = Kg./m²
A x B
W = width of joint (mm)
D = thickness of tile (mm)
A = length of tile (mm)
B = width of tile (mm)
Storage:
Store in an air conditioned dry store. Under these conditions, shelf life will be 12 months in unopened containers.

Surface preparation
Before application, the edges of tiles should be dry and dust free and emptied at least 2/3 of the tile thickness.
Mixing
NEOFIL POXY is supplied in two pre-weighed packs (Component A – Base and Component B – Hardener) which are ready for immediate in-situ use. Stir in both components before use.
Transfer the entire contents of component B (Hardener) into the component A (Base) can and mix with low speed drill and paddle (200 – 300 rpm) for 2-3 minutes till obtaining a mix with uniform consistency. Scrape the sides and bottom of the can during mixing to ensure homogeneity.
Application
Apply the product with hard rubber spatula. The excess mortar must be immediately cleaned with a slightly wet soft cloth. Final cleaning should be executed using a sponge damped with SOLVENTE 10.
Cleaning excess mortar should take place within 15 minutes. Extra care should be exercised not to allow water to contact the wet grout.
Allow the grout to cure before allowing any foot traffic. Curing time is approximately 24 hours at +20⁰C.
Cleaning
All used tools should be cleaned with SOLVENTE 10 before the product cures. Hardened material should be removed mechanically.
Recommendations
Handle the product with caution. Using gloves and goggles, avoid any contact with eyes and skin.
In case of contact with eyes, wash abundantly with warm water and consult a doctor immediately.
