Floor Tile Adhesive With High Elasticity
NEOFIL F60 is a high polymer modified waterproof cementitious adhesive. It is an easily workable product with high elasticity and excellent adhesion strength.
NEOFIL F60 does not contain asbestos, fibers or other material considered to health.
Packaging:
NEOFIL F60 is packed in 25 Kg bags.
Consumption:
Approx. 4.0 - 4.5 Kg NEOFIL F60 per m² using notched trowel on smooth surface. Consumption will vary according to type of tiles and support condition.
Storage:
Store in dry covered place in the original closed bags
Shelf life:
12 months if stored as recommended.

Surface preparation
All surfaces should be sound, clean & uncontaminated. This preparation should leave an exposed concrete surface free from dust, loose particles, deletrious matter, oil, grease, chemical films & other contaminants.
All loose particles of mortar, paint, etc. must be physically removed.
Concrete or blockwork: should be allowed to cure sufficiently so that all shrinkage movements take place before fixing tiles.
Gypsum supports: must be treated with PRIMER A16. Should not have a percentage of humidity more than 10%.
The surface of substrates must be moistened slightly with clean water to reduce the absorption of water from the mortar. Do not moisten the tiles.
Mixing
Add NEOFIL F60 which is supplied as 25 kg bag of NEOFIL F60 should be mixed with clean water (about 5 to 5.25 Liters per a bag of 25 kg.). Mix it carefully with a mechanic mixer at low number of turns (200 - 300 turns per minute) until obtaining a homogeneous mixture free from lumps, remix briefly before application.
Application
Apply NEOFIL F60 with a toothed spatula, spreading the first pass with its smooth part and then a second pass with the toothed part.
Place the tiles onto the adhesive bed.
Apply sufficient pressure on the tile during fixing with slight twisting movement in order to ensure good contact with the mortar.
Apply enough material that can be tiled during the adhesive’s open wet time. Spreading large areas may results in drying the adhesive before tiles can be fixed causing poor adhesion.
In case of large size tiles, it is necessary to spread the adhesive also to the backside of the tile.
Finishing
Remove excess adhesive with damp cloth before the material has set. Joint grouting between tiles may be commenced 24 hours after tiles are laid on the floors.
Cleaning
Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened materials should be mechanically removed.
Recommendations
NEOFIL F60 can be harmful to skin as it contains cement powders which may releases alkalis when mixed with water.
During application, wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves and respiratory equipment if necessary.
In case of contact with skin, rinse with water and again wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly.
If ingested, obtain medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
