For different size of tiles or width of joints, the consumption can be calculated using either of the two following formulas:

Formula 1:

                W x D  x L x 1.9 = Kg. /m²

Formula 2:

               A + B  x W x D x 1.9 = Kg. /m²
               A x B

W = width of joint (mm)
D = thickness of tile (mm)
L = linear meter of joints in 1 m² of tiles
A = length of tile (mm)
B = width of tile (mm)

Instructions for use

Surface preparation

Make sure that the tile adhesive is totally set before applying NEOFIL COLOR 0-4 grout. The joints must be clean, free of dust. Clean the joints between tiles and brush before grouting.

Measure 3.0 – 3.5 Liters of cold, potable water (or GIUNTOLASTIC instead of water as needed) in the mixing bucket and add slowly 10 kg bag of

NEOFIL COLOR 0-4mm under continuous mixing till a uniform lump free consistency mix is achieved.

After mixing, let the material rest for about 10 minutes, then remix and spread using a rubber grout float.

Let the product set for about 20 minutes and then clean with a damp sponge. After the complete hardening, clean all the surface of the tile with a dry cloth.

Remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth before it dries. Joints grouting between tiles may be commenced after 10 hours of tiling for walls and 24 hours for floors.

  • Do not apply NEOFIL COLOR 0-4 in rainy weather, high winds and sand storms.
  • Do not apply on surface that has temperature less than 5⁰C.
  • During summer season, working area should be covered to prevent the direct sun effects. Keep equipment cool and use a cool water.
  • The product should not be exposed to moving water during application.
  • Apply NEOFIL COLOR 0-4 when the joint is totally dry.
In case of very high absorbent tiles or high temperature, dampen the joints with clean water.
  • It is recommended to grout the joints after 24 hours of tile fixing.  Since temperature and humidity conditions affect the final curing, it is advisable to allow extended periods of cure when temperatures are low and/ or relative humidity is below 70%.
